Vibrating Feeder Outline

Vibrating feeder also called vibratory feeder is a kind of linear direction feeding equipment. It features smooth vibrating, reliable operation, long service life and being suitable for feeding. SBM vibrating feeder series is designed particularly for continuous use with any hard and abrasive materials through uniform flow.

Vibrating feeder works to continuously and evenly feed lump, particle and powdered materials from hopper to belt conveyer, bucket elevator, screens and crushing machines, etc. Steeples regulation is available for SBM’s vibrating feeder to automatically and centrally control the feeding volume.

We can supply wide ranging vibrating feeders, capacities ranging from120 tonne/hr to 600 tone/hr. Vibrating feeder is used for transferring bulk materials from hoppers or driers, grinders, crushers, millers or screens in chemical, mining, foundry, quarrying and iron and steel industries.

Vibrating Feeder Main Components

Vibrating feeder consists of vibrating frame, spring, vibrator, motor vibrating device and motor. The vibrator is made of two fixed eccentric shafts whose gears are jogged.

Vibrating Feeder Working Principle

When installation, the two gears must be jogged according to the sign. Through drive of the motor, the two eccentric shafts start rotating to produce a linear huge power which forces the feeder to vibrate. Through the vibration, the materials will slip and sling on the funnel, moving forward, when the materials pass the screening part, smaller parts will fall down, and avoiding the further crushing, so screening purpose can be reached.

1. Vibrating feeder is not allowed to be used where is likely to cause injury to persons premises.

2. Please install the vibrating feeder device using the hanging device which can withstand the weight of vibrating feeder, must ensure that equipment hanging institutions fully carry weight, and have a certain safety factor. Avoid the risk of falling of vibrating feeder device.

3. When vibrating feeder is in the hanging and maintenance of the equipment, not allow the person standing in the bottom to operate. So that it may fall, causing no personal injury.

4. Maintenance of the feeder must be completely off the power, in order to avoid electric shock casualty officers.

5. Feeder equipment operation must be connected and ground, in operation every day should be regularly check the wiring and insulation wire skin, anti-shock on the leakage and accidents.

6. When the vibrating feeder load must be running low current operation, so as to avoid damage to equipment, core impact, so under normal circumstances, do not run empty.
